Ariane was diagnosed with a brain tumour called Glioblastoma Grade IV on the 28th June, since then she had 3 operations and 3 weeks of radiotherapy.  However, the doctors stopped this treatment because they realised that it wasn't working and told us there wasn't anything else they could do.  This is a very short resume of what has happened to us in the last 4 months. At the moment we are very busy trying to sort out a trip to Germany to a clinic that someone has told us is very good and after contacting them the doctors in that clinic have said that they can treat Ariane. Just an open window for us to see the light of hope. Ariane is only 5 years old.  

Trough a friend we found out about this clinic in Germany that uses alternative medicine and that a lady that she knew, had gone for a treatment and things were going ok for her. And someone she knew had treatment too and was free of cancer .

We did a bit of research and contacted the clinic ,and they told us that they could treat her and also that they had treated kids with same condition as Ariane. And the rate of sucess is quite high considering the seriuosness of the illness.

Some of the treatments they do and may use on Ariane are :

-The  heat treatment, also known as Hyperthermia .

-The mistletoe treatment.

-The snake venom treatment.

So, now we have decided its a treatment we have to try as it could be vital for her .But it is not as easy as it looks, we have to pay for the treatment that cost over 5000 pounds and also accomodation in Germany,medicines,and a translator.And to make everything even more complicated Ariane can not fly as the pressure could kill her so we have to drive her to Germany,so that makes a total cost of over 10000 pounds.

And thats where all of you come to help us by doing sponsorships,fundraising and donations.All our family and friends have been helping us in such a difficult time for Nick and myself,Naiara,and we want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.God bless you.

Great news !!!  The Paypal account is set up and working so people can now make a donation using their debit or credit card. We have also posted details of where to send any cheques. Try it out using "Make a Donation" on the menu to the right.

Just to let everyone know that once the treatment is done/paid or if we raise more money than needed, the rest of the money will be donated to different charities that have help us throughout this illness,such as Sick Children Trust, Clic Sargent or EACH.

After a very long and hard weekend,we have come to the decision to delay the trip to Germany for a few days.Ariane is not strong enough to do the long journey to Germany and also the side effects of the treatment could be a bit dangerous if shes not strong enough.

Although its a very hard decision, we think its right thing to do right now and on the meantime we will give her part of a treatment that is going to help her to get strong.

This treatment consist on a very strict Alkaline diet or macrobiotic, in which you get rid of all toxin in your body,together with an"overdose " of metalic Vitamins such as (cesium ,magnesium,silver ,gold etc... ) and other products  that will help her get strong...

We are not giving up against this awful fight against cancer.

We will let you know how things going and the next date for the trip to germany.

Hi everyone!

We started treatment on monday and first couple days was a ok but yesterday and today, as we were told it could happen, Ariane is not feeling great.

Her body is obviously reacting to the treatment,and making her a bit ill, having flue symptoms, but all this is ment to be normal...well she how she goes the rest of the week.

At moment is not very pleasent for her as shes sick every morning ,temperature etc....but then for the rest of the evening she seems more awake....

I had had many emails from people wanting to make a donation through paypal but we have decided is best not to...As we are losing lots of money through fees and charges...

Dear friends,

 

On behalf of Naiara Tabuenca, we would like to inform you that Ariane passed away last Tuesday 5th December.

 

At the moment they both are in Quidenham Hospice (Norfolk), where they will be until next Wednesday 13th December. On this day (Wed 13th) Ariane’s funeral will be celebrated at St John’s cathedral, Norwich at 10 am.

 

Please to all of you that would like to assist to the funeral may I ask you to bring a pink or purple helium balloon to the service?

 

At the end of the service all the balloons will be released in memory of Ariane

 

Ariane we love you and will always love you. You will be always with us in our memories.
